Courses and Educational offers - Courses of artistic reproduction: the Etruscan and Greek style

The course is intended for people interested in the Etruscan history and in the clay manufacturing, which is to some extent similar to the artistic pottery course.

The GENERAL COURSE consists of a 10 hours course shared out among 5 days; 2 hours class per day. Lessons will be taken weekly, from Monday to Friday.

CONTENTS:

-CLAY: chemical analysis and different kind of compounds
-MATERIALS: historical aspects
-Features and techniques of baked clay
-Connections with Greeks’ and Romans’ pottery
-CLAYS: way of manufacturing and their compounds
-LATHE PROCESSING
-BAKING AND DECORATION OF THE CERAMICAL OBJECT
-A TOPIC SELECTED BY STUDENTS WILL BE WIDENED

The total cost of the course is 280,00 euro per person, materials are provided free of charge, Iva (VAT) is not included.
All supplementary materials used during the course and objects realized by students can be taken away.

The INTENSIVE COURSE consists of a 6 hours course shared out among 2 days; 3 hours class per day. Lessons will be taken weekly. Timetable and number of people attending the course will be communicate at the moment of enrolment. A personalized timetable is possible in agreement with the group’s requirements.

Contents:

-Participants can choose 4 topics among those of the general course.

The total cost of the course is 180,00 euro per person, materials are provided free of charge, Iva (VAT) is not included.

All supplementary materials used during the course and objects made by participants can be taken away.

The ‘ ALL IN ONE ’ COURSE consists of a 4 hours course in one day.

Lessons will be taken weekly. Timetable and number of people attending the course will be communicate at the moment of enrolment. A personalized timetable is possible in agreement with the group’s requirements.

-Connections with Greeks’ and Romans’ pottery
-LATHE PROCESSING
- SHORT ACCOUNT OF BAKING AND DECORATION
-CONCLUSION: widening and visit to a craft shop.

The total cost of the course is 125,00 euro per person, materials are provided free of charge, Iva (VAT) is not included.
