above sea level, 10 km from the historic town of Orvieto. Hill top
location with a 360 degree panoramic view of the countryside. It is
surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, woods and a 3000 sq.m fenced garden.

Description of the Villa:
Ground floor: Living/dining room with fireplace and spacious sofa bed, Sat TV and CD
player. Very well equipped kitchen with stove top, oven, fridge, dishwasher
and washing machine.
Two queen sized bedrooms, one with a balcony. One Twin,
with joinable beds. Two bathrooms, one with shower, the other with tub and
hand shower. Surrounding private garden. Sleeps 6 + 1.
Private pool 7 x 12 mt. Pool opens June 1st and closes on September 30th. The owner
provides one pool towel per guest.
Available private parking (free) at the property.
A cook, payable locally, may be arranged if requested at the time of booking
Villa Belvedere -
Maid service payable locally is available if arranged at the time of booking.
A wood or charcoal barbecue is available for use. Car hire recommended. Upon
request the owners are happy to go and meet guests at the Rome airport for
an additonal fee of 200 Euro. The day arrival the owners, very kind,
will offer a dinner of welcome to Italy, with local traditional Italian dishes and a bottle of
good Orvieto's wine.
The small village of Castel Viscardo is within a few minutes drive with two
restaurants and cafč bar, grocery, pharmacy, Bank
with A.T.M, P.O., other stores.
Orvieto within a 15 minute drive with all types of shops, restaurants ad
wineries.
Holiday Villa Belvedere is just 15 minutes drive from Orvieto
and 20 minutes from the A1 motorway, an excellent location from
which to explore Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio. Ancient Orvieto, with
its majestic Duomo sits high above an outcrop of volcanic tufa,
honeycombed with old Etruscan tunnels. Whether seen from afar or
from within, the city is magical. The neighbouring Orvieto Scalo, a
newer settlement on the valley below, offers train service to both
Florence and Rome and is home to a mysterious Etruscan necropolis.
Alviano, 30 minutes away, is an oasis for migratory birds with well
maintained paths for walking and bird watching. Also within easy
drives are Lake Bolsena, reached in 15 minutes; Cittą della Pieve or
Todi: 45; Perugia: 60. Siena, Spoleto, Assisi or Rome are all within
90 minute drive, and Florence is reached within two hours.
