Fattoria di Vegi is a working farm dating back
to 1842. It is situated in the hills of Chianti Classico region, 7 km from Castellina in Chianti, on a
hillside in dominating position: completely immersed in the
greenery among olive groves, vineyards and
cypresses.
Nowadays" Fattoria di Vegi"
holiday rentals consist of several
farmhouses surrounded by 108 hectares of land,
mostly cultivated with vineyards, olive trees and sown grounds.
The farm estate produces a vast array of quality wines, and
the typical "Vinsanto" of Tuscany, as well as an excellent
extra-virgin olive oil, Chianti Classico
wine and Chianti grappa.
The farm estate is being converted into an organic agricoltural production.

Vacation rentals are placed in 2 finely restored
buildings, one in front of the other;
- "Villa il Granaio" ( 13 sleeping spaces - approx. 300 m2) -
17th century building, divided as follows:
On the ground floor: 1 large living room of approx. 110 m2
with a large original fireplace, 1 large built-in kitchen, 1
bathroom with shower (also suitable for handicapped people).
On the first floor: 3 twin-bedded rooms, 1 bedroom, 3
sleeping spaces, all with private bathrooms and one suite made
up of two connecting rooms one with 3 sleeping spaces and the
other with one bed, each one with a private bathroom.
Services: Sat-tv, telephone
and fax (pay per use), laundry room, kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, electric
oven, stove top area.

building, divided as follows
On the first floor: 1 spacious kitchen with
fireplace, 2 bedrooms each with 3 single beds and each with
private bathroom with shower.
Farm Holidays: 19 sleeping places.
Services: kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, electric
oven, stove top area, washing machine (small
extra charge).
Open all year round.
Pets not allowed.
Shared services: swimming pool ( 7x 14 m ), private car
park not guarded, farm products for sale and a guided
tour.

office, banks,
supermarkets, chemist, police station,
newsagents, tobacconist, restaurants,
public transport, train station) - approx. 7 km from Castellina in Chianti - approx. 30 km north of Siena - approx.
