Umbria Jazz Winter Festival is hosted in Orvieto every winter. 
Umbria Jazz Winter, during the Christmas period, weaves to weave together culture and tourism, good hospitality and excellent music, utilising many of the town's beautiful buildings including the Mancinelli Theatre, Sala dei Quattrocento, Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, Palazzo dei Sette.

The festival offers the enthusiast, five intense days, with famous international artists performing in the streets, in the squares, in the most charming places of the city, where jazz and soul music create an exciting  atmosphere.

Some concerts offer relaxing moments with the "Jazz Lunch and Dinner", during which it's possible to eat typical Umbrian dishes or taste Orvieto's excellent wines, while listening to good music. 
The event offers many concerts from midday to midnight, with a "New Year 's Dinner". 

Everywhere there is a magical atmosphere of feast and great spectacle.
 On "New Years Day", the "Gospel" is held in the beautiful Cathedral of Orvieto.
