The airport is located in a plain 10 km outside of Siena (15 mins drive) and it is  very easy to reach.

Getting to Siena Airport:

From north:
Take the highway A1/E35 towards ROMA. Exit at FIRENZE CERTOSA.
Short after the toll-house, turn right taking the freeway to Siena. Continue until you reach the Siena bypass
Take the bypass until you see indication for Siena Ovest - Porta S. Marco. Exit there and follow the signs fors SS73, Monticiano- Sovicille - Massa Marittima.
Follow SS73 for about 10 km, then you will find an indication to Ampugnano.
Follow the signs. After some hundreds of meters you will find the airport.

From south:
Take the highway A1/E35 towards MILANO. Exit at VALDICHIANA.
Take the motorway E78 towards Siena, follow the E78 until you reach the bypass of Siena. Take the bypass until you see indication for Siena Ovest - Porta S. Marco. Exit there and follow the signs fors SS73, Monticiano- Sovicille - Massa Marittima.
Follow SS73 for about 10 km, then you will find an indication to Ampugnano.
Follow the signs. After some hundreds of meters you will find the airport.

Bus Services at Piazza Gramsci in Siena center: Buses depart every Saturday in association with the weekly flights to and from Munich, Olbia and Vienna. Tickets cost: one way 7 Euro, round trip 12 euro
