The Cenacle by
Ghirlandaio and Ognissanti Museum

Description: The star attraction is
the superbly restored Last Supper (1480) by Domenico
Ghirlandaio in the next door convent refectory. Inside are
also preserved the sinopias of the beautiful fresco.
Inside
also are illuminated manuscripts, silverware, sacred
vestments and polychrome terracotta sculptures dating back
from the 14th to the 16th century.
Next to the refectory are
is a cloister frescoed with Stories from St. Francis life.
