DOCUMENTS The type of
document required depends upon
destination. When planning your trip, you should check to make sure
that your documents have not expired and that they are valid for
trips abroad. As a precaution, you should make a photocopy or record
on a separate piece of paper the number, date and place of issuance:
this information may be useful in the event of loss or theft.
You should also check whether the country you are visiting requires,
vaccinations, an entry visa, even for the purposes of tourism.

LUGGAGE It is good practice to
label your luggage both inside and out with identifying information
(first name, last name, address, telephone number) and remove
luggage tags from previous trips. Before starting your trip, you should find out what items may be
carried in your hand luggage and in your checked luggage.
The dimensions and weights of checked luggage vary by airline, therefore you should contact your airline directly for such
information and for information on maximum weight allowances and

- HAND LUGGAGE The luggage that a passenger can carry with him onto the plane to be
placed in the overhead luggage compartment or under the seat in
front of him. Only one piece of hand luggage is allowed per person,
which must be labeled, and which must not exceed the total size
(height x base x depth) of 115 cm. Passengers may also carry on board: . A handbag or a document holder or a personal laptop computer . A camera, video camera or CD player . An overcoat or a raincoat . An umbrella or walking stick . A pair of crutches or another walking aid . A portable cot and food for babies that are necessary for the trip . Reading material for the trip . Items bought in the Duty Free shops or the retail shops inside the
airport (in quantities or weights that can easily be placed in the
purpose-built spaces in the cabin) Hand luggage exceeding a total size of 115 cm is permitted when the
passenger holds a regular ticket that allows the luggage to occupy a
place on the aircraft.
- ITEMS WHICH MAY NOT BE CARRIED IN LUGGAGE . Weapons and ammunition(*) . Explosives, fireworks and rockets . Compressed gas (inflammables, non inflammables, and poisonous gas)

Oxidizing substances . Magnetizing substances . Alarm devices . Scuba-diving torch with battery inside . Objects that may be considered to be improper weapons (e.g.
scissors, nail scissors, knives, metal blades etc) are only
prohibited in hand luggage.
