The antique cafe' in Liberty style is located in Via Voltaia del Corso
27-29, Montepulciano historic center. Founded in 1868 it could be defined
as a symbol of the city. It has always maintained throughout the years
its role of cafè-bar and meeting point for aristocratic families on
holidays as well as the right place for social and cultural exchanges.
The cafè-bar offers you a splendid view over the surrounding landscape.

Carducci, Pirandello, Prezzolini, Malaparte, Mario Del Monaco, Giulietta
Masina, Federico Fellini and many more. Cafe' Poliziano was
restored in 1992 and still remains a cultural reference for local people
and numerous tourists from all over the world.

The Caffè Poliziano is situated in the very heart of Montepulciano, in
the main street crossed by "Contrada di Voltaia", where one can
admire beautiful Renaissance palazzos making Montepulciano so unique.
Over one of these ancient houses, "Palazzo Grugni", a beautiful
marble marks the entry of the Cafè Poliziano.
You can easily get to the cafe' walking through the main gate of the
city, "Porta al Prato", or descending from "Piazza Grande", or with
minibus "Pollicino" that passes through the Corso (main street), or you
can park on parking place n°6 and then reach the Caffè Poliziano,
through the street "Vicolo Cervini".
