The little town of Monteriggioni is impressively situated on a hill next to the highway "Siena - Florence". It is completely surrounded by the 13th century walls, perfectly preserved, with 14 square towers that   can still be seen for miles around. Monteriggioni has been featured in movies as a typical medieval village.
