The picturesque Piazza della Cisterna, the town's main square, takes the name from the well in the center of the Piazza. It has triangular in shape and is paved with bricks laid in a herringbone pattern. Piazza della Cisterna is bounded by several towers and beautiful palazzos. In the Piazza are some coffee-bars where you can sit outside, to have a cappuccino or gelato and enjoy the scenery.
