Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, best known as Piazza del Popolo, is one of the most beautiful piazzas of Italy and still preserves its medieval structure. It is delimited by some important palaces like: Palazzo dei Priori, Palazzo del Popolo, Palazzo del Capitano, and, at the bottom of the piazza, on a flight of steps, the Cathedral.
