View of the unfinished church of San Fortunato - Todi [Umbria,Italy]
San Fortunato dates back to 1292. The temple is in perfect Gothic style
and it has a nave and two side aisles. On the sides are 13 chapels
containing portions of wonderful paintings and frescos. In the middle of
the church stands the statue of San Fortunato. The crypt houses the tomb
of San Fortunato and the plaque of Jacopone da Todi. From the bell tower
visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the town. San Fortunato has
a splendid portal; the upper part of the faηade is unfinished.
