The wine is produced in the
communes of Locorotondo, from which it takes its name,
Cisternino and Fasano in the province of Brindisi. The wine
of the area, which is light and extremely limpid, is
considerably different from the other Apulian wines, which
often have high alcohol levels and assertive flavors.
Locorotondo wine is delicately fruity and considered one of
the best DOC wines of the region by the experts |
